Analysis of the core content of the standard
This technical specification defines the intercommunication architecture between the extended DNS (EDNS) and the CDN global load balancing (GSLB), focusing on solving the problem of insufficient positioning accuracy of traditional DNS in edge computing scenarios. The EDNS Client Subnet (ECS) extended field carries the real IP information of the terminal, realizing the precise scheduling of CDN nodes.

- The terminal initiates a query to the Local DNS that supports ECS
- The recursive server carries the 10.10.10.1/24 subnet information in the EDNS OPT field

- The scheduling accuracy is improved by more than 60% (measured data)
