Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard specifies the technical requirements for access-type OTN equipment below the integrated service access node of the metropolitan area network/local network, and focuses on standardizing the key elements such as system structure, interface adaptation, performance indicators, etc. of the two types of equipment: fixed box type and plug-in type.

Key Technology Analysis

ODUk adaptation function

Supports the ODUflex lossless adjustment mechanism, and realizes flexible carrying of FE/GE/10GE and other services through GMP/AMP mapping. The time slot allocation follows the sequential sorting principle.

Packet processing capability

Ethernet services support 6 types of service models such as EPL/EVPL. The QoS mechanism includes:

  • Flow classification based on DSCP/VLAN
  • CIR/EIR dual-rate three-color marking
  • Minimum 1Mbit/s rate adjustment granularity

Macro site remote solution

Using all-outdoor fixed box equipment to achieve:

  1. BBU is deployed in a centralized manner, and RRU is cascaded through OTN equipment
  2. Single pair of optical fibers carries multi-site services
  3. Supports extreme environments of -40℃~+55℃

Data center interconnection

Through Plug-in device provides:

  • OTU4 interface (optional)
  • Ultra-low latency of <50μs
  • IP65 protection grade
