The Quadro Norma contains guidelines related to the application of telematics in traffic control and management on roads. It sets the foundation for specific applicable norms that can derive from it. After addressing the quality and certification of data, the norm generally covers various applications: the control and management of parking, transit with and without vehicle stops, dynamic toll collection, traffic monitoring, devices for detecting violations, control and management of traffic signal installations, user information, in-vehicle navigation assistance, passenger transport service control and management, goods fleet and multimodal transport unit management, integration of telematic systems. Annexed to this are the terminology, descriptions of application supports for telematics on roads, existing regulatory references, and technical standardization priorities (specific technical norms).
