Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, technical requirements, inspection and test methods, inspection rules, markings, as well as protection, packaging, storage and transportation of butterfly valves for oxygen. This document is applicable to working pressures not greater than 10MPa and greater than 0.1MPa, nominal sizes DN100~DN1000 (NPS4~NPS40), oxygen medium temperature -30℃~200℃, dew point not higher than -30℃, purity (volume fraction) greater than 23.5%, the connection method is flange, wafer or lug type butterfly valve for oxygen.
