Scope
This document specifies the normative reference documents, terms and definitions, requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life requirements for freeze-dried full-price pet food. This document applies to freeze-dried full-price pet food processed by vacuum freeze-drying technology to meet the nutritional needs of dogs and cats, excluding prescription pet food.
