Scope
This document stipulates the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, labeling, transportation and storage requirements for sodium chloride products, a by-product of bromine production from sodium bromide. This document applies to the sodium chloride produced by neutralizing the acidic water produced in the reactive distillation section, evaporating crystallization, and centrifugation in the process of producing bromine using sodium bromide, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, etc. as the main raw materials. Sodium chloride, a by-product of bromine production from sodium bromide, is mainly used as a raw material for the production of snow melting agents, caustic soda, and soda ash, and must not be used in the feed and food industries.
