The 5th Section: Terminology and Definitions
5.1 Juvenile Tea Ceremony
The tea ceremony for youth aged 5 years old or above to under 18 years old.
5.2 Juvenile Tea Ceremony Literacy
Through standardized, systematic learning, mastering the history, culture, knowledge, and etiquette of Chinese tea, correctly demonstrating skills such as brewing tea, preparing tea, and boiling tea, and possessing the willingness and ability to inherit and promote the Chinese tea ceremony.
5.3 Recognition of Juvenile Tea Ceremony Literacy
The evaluation targets juveniles aged 5 years old or above to under 18 years old, with assessment content including history, culture, knowledge, etiquette, and skills related to Chinese tea. Qualified grade evaluation institutions conduct level recognition activities by organizing assessments on basic knowledge, etiquette norms, practical operations, etc.
6. Level Setting
A total of five levels are set: Level One, Level Two/Beginner; Level Three, Level Four/Middle; Level Five/Senior.
Each higher level progressively covers the requirements of lower levels, see Appendix A for specific content.
7. Training Requirements
7.1 Training Time
No less than 24 class hours before each grading assessment, with one class hour being 40 minutes.
7.2 Trainer
Trainers should possess good political qualities and moral cultivation, have a good demonstration, teaching guidance, and appreciation ability, over three years of tea education work experience, need to obtain the Qualification Certificate for Senior Tea Artist, and need to pass the Juvenile Tea Ceremony Instructor Training.
7.3 Training Venue Facilities
Theoretical knowledge and skill operation training should take place in venues that meet teaching requirements, with complete equipment, reasonable layout, and compliance with national safety and hygiene standards.
8. Application Conditions
Any juvenile who loves the tea ceremony and has a certain foundation, meets the corresponding age conditions for each level, and meets the required training hours can apply to take the exam. Specific requirements for each level are as follows:
8.1 Level One/Beginner:
8.1.1 Age between 5 years old or above and under 18 years old.
8.1.2 Accumulated study time of this skill for at least 24 class hours, with relevant training certification obtained.
8.2 Level Two/Beginner:
8.2.1 Age between 6 years old or above and under 18 years old.
8.2.2 Obtained the certification for one level assessment for more than half a year.
8.2.3 Accumulated study time of this skill for at least 48 class hours, with relevant training certification obtained.
8.3 Level Three/Middle:
8.3.1 Age between 7 years old or above and under 18 years old.
8.3.2 Obtained the certification for two level assessment for more than half a year.
8.3.3 Accumulated study time of this skill for at least 72 class hours, with relevant training certification obtained.
8.4 Level Four/Middle:
8.4.1 Age between 8 years old or above and under 18 years old.
8.4.2 Obtained the certification for three level assessment for over one year.
8.4.3 Accumulated study time of this skill for at least 96 class hours, with relevant training certification obtained.
8.5 Level Five/Senior:
8.5.1 Age between 9 years old or above and under 18 years old.
8.5.2 Obtained the certification for four level assessment for over one year.
8.5.3 Accumulated study time of this skill for at least 120 class hours, with relevant training certification obtained.
Grade evaluation requirements require step-by-step application. If an individual holds a recognized related certificate, they can directly apply for higher-level grade evaluation.
9. Evaluation Methods and Requirements
9.1 Evaluation Method
The evaluation involves both theoretical knowledge tests and practical skills assessments, each scored out of 100 points. Those who achieve a passing score in both will be granted the corresponding juvenile tea ceremony literacy level certificate.
9.2 Standardization Organization and Certification Bodies
Authorized by the Chinese Cultural Promotion Association, qualified institutions are responsible for organizing and implementing these evaluations. Qualified grade evaluation bodies for juvenile tea ceremony literacy must undergo annual review.
10. Revision and Update
This standard should be revised and updated periodically according to industry development needs.
11. Annex
This standard is implemented from the date of its release.
