Introduction

The Chinese Construction Standardization Association (CCSA) has recently released a new standard, T/CECS 10338-2023, titled "Preparation of Solid Fuel from Municipal Solid Waste," which aims to guide the conversion and utilization of municipal solid waste into a valuable resource. This standard was published on October 26, 2023, and will come into effect on March 1, 2024.

The document sets out comprehensive guidelines for the processing technology, quality control measures, equipment specifications, safety standards, and environmental protection requirements related to transforming municipal solid waste into a solid fuel product. It is designed to enhance energy recovery efficiency and reduce pollution from waste disposal.
