Detailed explanation of key technical requirements

4.1 Button ergonomics

The standard stipulates that the active part area of mechanical buttons is ≥280mm² (490mm² is recommended), the operating stroke is 0.3-0.6mm, and the tactile feedback force is 2.5-8N. Special scenarios such as fire elevators must meet the IPX3 waterproof level, and antibacterial materials are recommended for hospital scenarios.

5.1.5 Operation box layout specifications

The vertical spacing of buttons must be ≥10mm, and the gap between function buttons and layer selection buttons must be doubled. The exit layer button requires a raised star pattern or a 5mm raised green button, and the IC card device should be placed under the button.


Test and Verification System

6.1 Reliability Verification

Appendix B/C of the standard specifies:

  • Mechanical life test: Normal function after 3 million presses
  • Environmental test: -25℃~70℃ temperature cycle, 95%RH humidity test
  • EMC test: Electrostatic discharge 15kV, RF immunity 10V/m

Implementation suggestions

Key points of compliance design

1. The height of the button characters must be 15-40mm, and the Braille must comply with GB/T 15720
2. The installation height of the control box signal indicator must be ≥1600mm
3. The electromagnetic compatibility design must meet the GB/T 17626 series standards

It is recommended that manufacturers establish:

  • 60N tensile test process for button letters
  • Salt spray test + high temperature and high humidity composite test procedure
  • Packaging drop test (800mm/10kg)
