Scope
Flower bud differentiation is a physiological and morphological indicator of the transition from nutritional growth to reproductive growth, consisting of an induction phase before flower bud differentiation and the specific progress of inflorescence and flower differentiation thereafter. The changing rules of flower bud differentiation are closely related to the characteristics and activity status of various plant varieties, as well as external environmental conditions and agricultural technical measures. In recent years, through on-site investigations combined with relevant scientific research, the writing team has mastered the laws of flower bud differentiation in main stem-shaped Korla fragrant pears, water management, fertilization management, reasonable load, branch spreading, pinching back shoots, ring cutting, manipulating branches, twisting shoots, hanging branches, pruning, supporting branches, and growth control agents, etc. This has fully met the requirements of internal and external conditions for flower bud differentiation, ensuring sufficient quantity and quality of flowers formed each year, which is of great significance in increasing yield.
