Detailed technical parameters

Magnetic suspension characteristics requirements

  • Concentration range: 0.10-0.40mL/100mL (corresponding to 0.034-0.135 ounces in imperial units)
  • Shelf life: Performance meets the standard within 12 months from the date of manufacture
  • UV lamp intensity: ≥1000μW/cm² (6452μW/in²) of the test surface

Sensitivity test method

Ring specimen test

Use

Test type Frequency requirement Acceptance criteria
Contamination test Per batch No visible foreign matter/agglomeration
Concentration test Per batch Read after centrifugation for 30 minutes
Sensitivity test First article inspection Clearly show 7 holes

Implementation recommendations

Detection system configuration

  • UV light source needs to be calibrated regularly to ensure the wavelength is 365nm
  • Ambient light control ≤21.5 lux (2 foot candles)
  • It is recommended to use AMS2641 standard oil-based carrier

Safety precautions

This standard does not cover the toxicity protection requirements for fluorescent magnetic particles. It is recommended that:

  1. Organic vapor protection equipment should be used
  2. Forced ventilation should be implemented in the testing area
  3. Waste should be treated as hazardous chemicals
