Introduction

Standard Background and Scope of Application

This standard is formulated based on the requirements of Document No. 58 of 2019 issued by the National Energy Administration and is compiled by China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group and other Northeast Electric Power Design Institute. It is applicable to the design of wireless LANs in scenarios such as 35kV and above voltage levels substations and dispatching agencies.

Key Technical Specifications

1. Network Architecture Design

The standard clearly adopts a centralized control architecture (thin AP+AC mode), and the Mesh network must support multi-hop wireless relay. Frequency configuration requirements:

  • 2.4GHz band: channel spacing ≥25MHz
  • 5GHz band: 5.8GHz band is preferred

2. Equipment selection requirements

Access controller (AC) should support:

  1. Simultaneous management of ≥512 APs
  2. Traffic shaping function
  3. Cross-VLAN multicast

Implementation suggestions

1. Network security deployment

Must implement:

  • WPA3-Enterprise encryption
  • ACL access control list
  • Independent Authentication server deployment

2. Lightning protection grounding measures

Outdoor AP installation must meet the following requirements:

  1. Grounding resistance ≤ 4Ω
  2. SPD protection level ≥ 20kA
