Key Technical Requirements
1. Test Equipment Specifications
The impact tester must comply with ISO 13802 verification requirements. Key points to note:
- Pendulum Energy Selection: The energy absorbed by the specimen should be in the range of 10%-80% of the available energy
- Clamping Force Control: For pressure sensitive materials, a torque wrench or pneumatic device should be used to standardize the clamping force
- Impact Velocity: The standard specifies 3.5m/s (to be stated in the report)
2. Specimen Preparation Tips
Injection Molded Specimens should refer to ISO 294-1 standard, special attention:
- Multi-cavity molds need to ensure the consistency of the size of the specimens in each cavity
- Notch processing should preferably be mechanical processing (in line with ISO 2818)
- The specimen surface must not have defects such as scratches and dents

Test result processing
Report classified according to fracture type:
- Type C: Complete fracture (including hinge fracture)
- Type P: Partial fracture
- Type N: No fracture
When the coefficient of variation is <5%, the minimum number of samples can be reduced to 5
