IEC 61084-1:2024 - Cable trunking systems and cable ducting systems for electrical installations

Scope: This part of the IEC 61084 series specifies requirements and tests for cable trough systems (CTS) and cable conduit systems (CDS) intended to house insulated conductors, cables and possibly other electrical equipment and to provide the necessary electrical protective separation in electrical and/or communication system installations. The maximum voltage for these installations is 1 000 V a.c. and 1 500 V d.c. This document does not apply to conduit systems, cable tray systems, cable ladder systems, power rail systems or other equipment covered by other standards. NOTE This part of the IEC 61084 series is not intended to be used alone.
