GH/T 1443-2023 standard is applicable to powdered products made from Cordyceps fruiting bodies through drying and crushing. It is the first time to establish a three-level quality grading system in the supply and marketing industry:

Microbial control requirements

The standard strictly stipulates that the total colony count is ≤30,000 CFU/g, and Salmonella/Staphylococcus aureus must not be detected. The detection method refers to the GB 4789 series of standards:

A biological enterprise in Jiangsu adopted high performance liquid chromatography (NY/T 2116) When determining cordycepin, attention should be paid to the temperature control of 80℃ water bath extraction during sample pretreatment. A deviation of ±2℃ will lead to a difference of up to 15% in the test results.
