1. Standard background and scope of application
GB/T 5856-2024 "General Technical Requirements for Hot Presses for Man-Made Panels" is an important industry standard among national standards. It is mainly applicable to single-layer hot presses and multi-layer hot presses for the production of man-made panels such as plywood, fiberboard, particleboard, veneer, honeycomb board, etc. This standard replaces GB/T 5856-1999 and puts forward stricter technical requirements for the design, manufacture, inspection and use of hot presses.

Cleanliness of hydraulic system:It is clearly required that the cleanliness of the hydraulic system meets the requirements of hydraulic components, and new structural requirements for pipeline connections are added to adapt to thermal expansion and contraction deformation. For example, the general rules and safety requirements for hydraulic transmission systems specified in GB/T 3766.
4. Implementation suggestions
Manufacturers:Should strictly follow the requirements of the new standard for design and production, focusing on the compliance of main parameters, safety protection and inspection methods. It is recommended to establish an internal testing laboratory to ensure product quality.
Users: should clarify the technical parameters and inspection requirements with the supplier before purchasing the equipment to ensure that the hot press meets the actual production needs. At the same time, regular equipment maintenance and calibration should be performed to extend the service life of the equipment.
