1. Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T 43703-2024 "Safety Requirements and Test Methods for Safety Nets in Ski Resorts" aims to standardize the production and use of safety nets in ski resorts and ensure the safety of athletes and skiers. With the popularization of skiing and the advancement of technology, this standard came into being, filling the gap in the field of safety nets in domestic ski resorts.
2. Classification and functions of safety nets
According to GB/T 43703-2024 standard, ski resort safety nets are divided into A net, B net and C net according to their functions:
- A net: protective net, mainly set up on the outermost side of the snow trail to prevent skiers from running out of the snow trail.
- B net: buffer net, mainly used to force out-of-control skiers to stop in time through buffering interception.
- C network: Isolation network, used to divide areas, set up channels, guide traffic and control crowd flow.
