Analysis of the core content of the standard

This standard specifies the full life cycle technical requirements for aviation aluminum alloy plates, including:

  • 8 major alloy series (2xxx/7xxx, etc.) with a total of 18 grades
  • Dimensional tolerance system with a thickness range of 0.2-203.2mm
  • 12 types of mechanical performance indicators and 6 corrosion test methods

Material technology evolution analysis

Compared with the previous generation of standards, the main technological breakthroughs are reflected in:

  1. 2H24 The introduction of a new alloy, whose Cu content of 3.8-4.5% is better than that of traditional 2024 alloy
  2. The matching relationship between electrical conductivity and mechanical properties becomes a mandatory indicator
  3. Phase-controlled array ultrasonic testing replaces conventional ultrasonic testing

  • CV≤2.5% for ultra-large plate with thickness of 203.2mm
  • Three-level aging process is used to control intergranular corrosion sensitivity
  • Passed stability verification of 3 furnaces and 10 batches (Cpk≥1.33)

Quality risk prevention and control

  • Establish a full process traceability system for melting-casting-hot rolling-heat treatment
