GB/T 33665—2023, the National Standard of the People's Republic of China, "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Audio and Video of Digital Publications", is an important standard for regulating the quality of audio and video in the field of digital publishing. Compared with the old version GB/T 33665—2017, the new standard has made many improvements and updates in technical parameters, term definitions and test methods.
| Items | Improvements in the New Standard | Contents Used in the Old Standard | ||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deleted Definitions | Added Technical Requirements | Retained Core Terms | Optimization of Detection Methods | |
| Interlaced Scan | Added Ultra High Definition Video Parameters (4K/8K) | Channel and Surround Sound Definitions | Update of Detection Equipment | |
| Progressive Scan | Added Technical Requirements for 3D Sound | Encoding Format Requirements | Storage media expansion (such as mobile hard disk) | |
High-quality audio requirements: Dual-channel needs to reach a sampling frequency of 192kHz, surround sound and 3D sound need to reach 96kHz, and the quantization accuracy is 24bit. These parameters ensure that the sound quality of digital publications reaches professional standards.
Ultra-high-definition video standards: Support 16:9 aspect ratio, 8K resolution (7680x4320) and progressive scan mode. New technical requirements include higher frame rate (120Hz) and precise color coordinate parameters to ensure more delicate visual presentation.
