In-depth interpretation of GB/T31903-2024 standard

1. Scope and applicability of the standard

This standard applies to woven interlinings, knitted interlinings and non-woven interlinings of various materials, and standardizes the classification, marking, logo and packaging requirements of clothing interlining products.

2. Definition of key terms

Terms	Definition
Base fabric	Fabric used to make clothing interlinings without coating or dyeing and finishing.
Woven interlining	Interlining for garments made from woven fabrics through coating and other processes.

3. Product classification and marking rules

Example of woven interlining marking:

T/C~65/35~28.1tex/28.1tex~212.0roots/10cm/216.0roots/10cm~110cm~Plain weave~165g/m²~HDPE+PES-161dots/cm²~Irregular.

Knitted lining marking example:

W type ~ 100% T (DTY55.5dtex/48f) ~ Linear density 55.5dtex Thread count 48, Needle count 118 needles/10cm ~ Width 150cm.

4. Packaging and marking requirements

• Inner packaging must comply with GB/T4456 polyethylene film standard.
• Outer packaging can be corrugated paper boxes or plastic woven bags, meeting the requirements of GB/T8946 and GB/T6543.
• Each roll of finished product should be accompanied by a product instruction manual, including producer information, product specifications, etc.

5. Comparison of standard frameworks

6. Implementation suggestions
