GB/T 19964-2024 "Technical Provisions for the Connection of Photovoltaic Power Stations to the Power System" is a comprehensive revision of the original standard GB/T 19964-2012, mainly targeting the rapid development of photovoltaic power generation technology and the needs of safe and stable operation of power grids.
The technical evolution of this standard is reflected in the following aspects:
| Technical requirements | GB/T 19964-2012 | GB/T 19964-2024 |
|---|---|---|
| Active power control range | ±5% | ±3% |
| Dynamic reactive current support | Unclear requirements | Added dynamic reactive current proportional coefficient K1, with a value range of 1.5~3 |
| High voltage ride-through capability | No specific requirements | Explicitly require that the operating time when the nominal voltage reaches more than 120% shall be no less than 1s |
To ensure the effective implementation of the standard, it is recommended to take the following measures:
Take a 100MW photovoltaic power station as an example:
In the case of a three-phase short circuit fault, the grid-connected voltage of the power station drops to 20% of the nominal voltage. According to the new standard requirements, the photovoltaic inverter and reactive power compensation device should be able to operate without disconnecting from the grid within 150ms. Through simulation analysis, it is found that the actual operation performance is better than the standard requirements.
