Introduction

GB/T 18916.13—2024 Interpretation of Industrial Water Quota Standard

GB/T 18916 Industrial Water Quota is an important national standard for regulating water resource management in my country's industrial sector. Part 13 specifically regulates the water quota for ethylene and propylene. This revision adds water use indicators for the production of olefins and propane dehydrogenation processes using coal as raw materials, and optimizes the technical requirements for traditional processes.

Actual Application Case Analysis

Take an ethylene production enterprise as an example. It adopts ethane cracking process with an annual output of 1 million tons. According to the standard, the water intake per unit product should not exceed 7.5 m³/t. Through water balance testing and optimized management, the enterprise has achieved efficient use of water resources.
