| Method name | Scope of application | Equipment requirements | Operation steps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Card clothing drum method | Woven fabrics and knitted fabrics, not applicable to mesh structures, tufted fabrics and non-woven fabrics | Rotating drum, card clothing drum, gasket and other equipment | Sample installation, drum rotation, rating analysis |
| Hammer method | General fabric snagging performance evaluation | Hammer equipment | Sample fixation, nail tip test, and result recording |
| Rolling box method | Fabric snagging performance test | Roller equipment | Sample installation, roller rolling, and result analysis |
GB/T 11047.3—2024 is the third part of the series of standards for "Testing and evaluating the snagging performance of textile fabrics", which mainly targets the roller method for card clothing. This method is developed on the basis of the nail hammer method and the rolling box method. By simulating the hooking phenomenon in real use scenarios, it provides a more accurate evaluation of anti-snagging performance.
With the advancement of textile technology, fabric materials and structures are becoming increasingly diversified, and traditional testing methods can no longer meet the needs of modern textiles. The card clothing drum method can more comprehensively reflect the anti-snagging performance of the fabric in actual use by optimizing equipment parameters (such as rotation speed, resistance) and test conditions.
In actual application, it is recommended:
