Scope
This document describes a method for the determination of Cr(VI) in solid waste materials and soils by alkaline digestion and ion chromatography combined with spectrophotometric detection. The method can be used to determine Cr(VI) in solids at mass fractions above 0.1 mg/kg. NOTE: In the case of reducing or oxidizing waste matrices, no valid Cr(VI) content can be reported.
