Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the layout of periphyton survey points, sample collection and preservation, and physical, chemical and biological index analysis and testing. This document is applicable to the layout, collection, preservation, and quantitative characterization or test analysis of physical, chemical and biological properties of periphyton sampling points in wetlands or shallow water bodies such as rice fields, ditches, rivers, reservoirs, lakes, etc.
