1. Scope and Applicability
1.1 Scope
This Standard specifies the Software Quality Assurance Program requirements to be implemented and maintained to assure that predeveloped software used in critical applications conforms to published specifications.
1.2 Applicability
This Standard applies to the acquisition, customer acceptance, and acquisition support, of predeveloped software used in critical applications, when specified by contract or purchase order.
