This standard applies to flexible microporous insulation materials (FMI) for industrial equipment, which achieve thermal insulation performance through a nano-scale porous composite structure (mixed inorganic powder, fiber and sunscreen). The product is delivered in the form of flexible coils or sheets and must meet the physical and chemical properties requirements specified in Chapter 4.
| Performance Category | Test Standard | Allow Deviation | Typical Value Range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dimension Tolerance | ISO 29465/29466 | Thickness≤±2%~15% | According to Application Grade T1-T5 |
| Thermal Conductivity λ | ISO 8301/8302 | 3 Significant Figures | 0.030W/(m·K)@500℃ |
| Temperature resistance ST(+) | ISO 18097 | Linear change ≤2% | 800~1000℃ classification |
Compared with the previous generation standard, the 2024 version has the following major updates:
Establish a quality control system in accordance with the requirements of Appendix A, paying special attention to:
The product packaging must include: FMI-ISOXXXX code, nominal thickness value, production traceability code and fire rating. Example:
FMI-ISOXXXX-b300-l300-t10-λD0.030(500℃)-ST(+)800-CS(10/Y)100
