- This guide applies to spaces in commercial and institutional buildings that are occupied by humans, but does not include dwelling units in residential uses where occupants are non-transient. This guide provides recommendations for the design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of certain source and ventilation and air purification systems.
