These interim regulations apply to the design of newly built railways where passenger and freight trains operate on the same line, with a design speed of 200 km/h for passenger trains and a design speed of 120 km/h for freight trains. Contents not covered by these interim regulations shall be implemented in accordance with the current relevant railway design specifications and regulations or shall be determined through separate research.
