Scope

This European Standard classifies floor drains used inside buildings, gives guidelines for installation locations and specifies requirements for the construction, design, performance and marking of floor drains for manufactured buildings from the factory, regardless of the materials, intended for use in drainage networks requiring a floor drain with a minimum water gap of 50 mm (called "floor drains" in the rest of the document).
