Scope

This multi-part document defines Direct Mode Operation (DMO) of the Trans-European Radio Network (TETRA). It specifies the basic radio interface, interworking between Direct Mode (DM) groups through repeaters and interworking with the TETRA Voice plus Data (V+D) system through gateways. It also specifies the DMO security aspects of TETRA and the intrinsic services that are supported in addition to basic media and teleservices.
