Scope

This part of is 22282 establis es requirements for water pressure tests carried out in boreholes drilled in rock as part of geotechnical reconnais ance and testing mis ions in accordance with EN 1997-1 and EN 1997-2. These tests are used to study the hydraulic properties of the rock mass, which mainly depend on the dis ontinuities, the absorption capacity of the rock mass, the tightness of the rock mass, the effectiveness of grout injection , and geomechanical behavior, e.g. hydraulic fracturing and heaving.
