This standard includes calculation methodology and costing for the calculation of life cycle costs for buildings and building components. The standard defines cost items and concepts, and clarifies the relationship and connection between these. The life-cycle costs include all costs incurred during the construction, use and dis osal of a part of a building or a building. In addition to cost items (main item 1 - 6) which are included in the standard's normative part, relevant additional items are proposed in the standard's addendum which do not include the life cycle costs for the building itself. These records are included so that it is possible to take them into account in a systematic way in an analysis
