Scope

This part specifies the short message signaling test method for 800MHz/2GHz cdma2000 digital cellular mobile communication network mobile stations, including SMS relay layer test, SMS transport layer test and SMS telecommunications service layer test. This section applies to 800MHz/2GHz cdma2000 mobile communication terminals (hereinafter referred to as mobile terminals) that support CSIM/RUIM cards (machine-card separation) and do not support CSIM/RUIM cards (machine-card integration). CSIM/RUIM cards include those that support UIMID and EUIMID.
