This standard specifies the requirements for emergency countermeasures that should be taken in response to accidents or dangers during oil and gas operations in shallow (shoal) seas. This standard applies to oil and gas operations in shallow (beach) waters of the People's Republic of China. Oil and gas operations in inland lakes included in offshore management shall be implemented accordingly.
