Scope

This standard specifies the basis for determining and classifying Keshan disease wards. This standard is applicable to the identification and classification of Keshan disease endemic areas, description of Keshan disease condition, development of Keshan disease epidemiological research, monitoring and evaluation of prevention and control effects.
