- This part specifies the type, composition, marking, materials, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, marking and packaging of falling weights and falling weight limiting frames. This section applies to the falling weight used in the anchor compensation device of the electrified railway catenary system to adjust the tension of the adjusting cable or contact wire and to guide the falling weight to move up and down and limit the swing of the falling weight caused by the wind.
