This Standard deals with metal containers intended for aerosol dispensers of internal diameter not exceeding 75 mm and brimful capacity not exceeding 840 cc.
The Standard deals with containers in which the propelling pressure is supplied by liquified compressed gases having critical temperatures above 45 C, and in which the internal pressure does not exceed 11.5 kg per sq cm at a temperature of 55°C
This Standard does not cover containers intended for use as fire extinguishers.
