Scope

This atlas is a professional atlas of manholes and hand holes in communication pipeline engineering construction. This atlas includes standard series of brick manholes and hand holes, concrete block manholes and accessories, etc. This atlas is suitable for new communication pipeline projects. Renovation and expansion of communication pipeline projects should comply with the relevant provisions of this atlas based on local material supply, construction site conditions, environment, municipal requirements, etc. The load capacity of the overlying manhole and handhole is determined based on factors such as the maximum load that may occur at the location where it is installed. The load strength of the manhole ring installed on the overlying manhole should be matched with the overlying load capacity. That is, the load capacity of the mouth ring must be greater than or equal to the overlying load capacity. When the manholes and hand holes exceed the dimensions and usage conditions specified in this atlas, their foundations, walls, and overlying structures should be calculated separately. The dimensions of manhole drawings, hole drawings and accessory drawings in this atlas are all in millimeters.
