Scope
Hebei Provincial Department of Construction Ji Jianke [2001] No. 417 document stipulates that within the urban planning areas of the province's 11 districts and cities until June 30, 2002, and within the urban planning areas of county-level cities and economically developed counties by June 30, 2003 Japan has completely banned the use of clay solid bricks. In 2002, the Hebei Provincial Department of Construction issued Hebei Jianke [2002] No. 377 "Implementation Opinions on Further Strengthening the "Implementation Ban" Work, which once again emphasized the implementation of the specific requirements for the "Implementation Ban" work. With the progress of wall reform, clay solid bricks and other clay wall products have begun to withdraw from the construction site. It has become an urgent task to develop new wall materials to replace sintered clay solid bricks and other clay wall products. In order to meet the needs of the building materials market, sintered solid bricks and sintered porous bricks using coal grindstone, shale, fly ash, etc. as raw materials have been mass-produced. In order to rationally use sintered non-clay bricks and ensure the product quality of sintered non-clay bricks, the design and construction of sintered non-clay brick masonry structures must be technologically advanced, economically reasonable, safe and applicable, and ensure project quality, according to Hebei Province Construction In order to meet the requirements of the Department's 2003 engineering construction standards and standard atlas preparation plan, the Qinhuangdao Architectural Design Institute compiled the "Technical Regulations for Sintered Non-Clay Brick Masonry Structures". The "Regulations" include 1. General principles 2. Terminology and symbols 3. Materials There are seven chapters in total and two appendices including the calculation index of masonry, 4. Basic design regulations, 5. Structural requirements, 6. Seismic design, 7. Construction quality acceptance and the production of sintered non-clay bricks, which provide specific provisions on relevant issues. This regulation is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of masonry structures using sintered non-clay bricks as wall materials in non-seismic fortification areas and areas with seismic fortification intensity of 6 to 8 degrees.
