Scope
These requirements apply to both cord—connected and permanently connected electric radiant heaters and infrared and ultraviolet lamp assemblies* for warming food or for cosmetic or hygienic purposes in nonrnedical applications and in nonhazardous locations using nominal system voltages of 250 V and less, in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. *For convenience the shorter terra "equipment" is used extensively herein.
