Scope

This standard specifies the use of X-ray photography to evaluate the dis ersion and porosity of ZL104 aluminum alloy sand castings (hereinafter referred to as ("castings")), and provides corresponding X-ray photography standard films. This standard is applicable to X-ray photography for wall evaluation ZL104 castings with a thickness of not more than 20mm. For ZL104 castings with a wall thickness greater than 20mm but less than 50mm, this standard is not applicable to the classification of spongy looseness of ZL104 castings.
