Scope

This part of LY/T 1662 defines the information required to describe data sets and provide information services in digital forestry, providing the identification, quality, spatial representation, spatial reference, content, data distribution, metadata reference of data sets and Quotes, times and contact information, etc. This section applies to the description of data sets and information exchange network services in digital forestry. The metadata in this part is divided into two levels, namely core metadata and detailed metadata. Core metadata defines the most critical information content that describes a data set. On the basis of core metadata, fully consider the characteristics of various types of data in digital forestry and establish detailed metadata that meets the needs of digital forestry construction. Users can select metadata content based on specific needs and actual data conditions, and establish a metadata database at the corresponding level.
