This part specifies the terms and definitions, classification, specifications and markings, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and certificates, transportation, packaging and storage of chrysotile asbestos calcium silicate boards (referred to as calcium silicate boards). This section applies to building materials such as interior wall panels, exterior wall panels, ceiling panels, carriages, offshore buildings, internal partitions of ships, etc. that have fire protection, heat insulation, and moisture-proof requirements. This section does not apply to calcium silicate insulation products and perforated calcium silicate panels for sound absorption. The mechanical properties of the calcium silicate boards produced in accordance with the requirements of this section are subject to subsequent surface coating, impregnation and other processes. The mechanical properties of the substrates can comply with this section. However, the aging resistance of the treated product is determined by the quality of the surface decorative layer. The quality and inspection methods of the decorative layer are not included in this section.
