Scope

This specification covers one type of 5000-pound capacity, cargo parachute release assembly consisting of a release mechanism, a delay assembly(firing mechanism), and a link assembly. Delay assemblies and link assemblies my be procured separately(see 6.2). The delay assembly employs a 20-second time delay cartridge which is stocked separately(see 6.4).
