This CID covers requirements for general purpose and machinery dolly trucks with
rectangular frames and four swivel casters. General purpose dolly trucks are intended for
moving loads, not exceeding 454 kilograms(kg)(1000 pounds), over short distances on paved
surfaces. Machinery dolly trucks are intended for use singularily or in pairs for moving
machinery and other bulky loads, not exceeding 1089 kg(2400 pounds) per truck, over short
distances on paved surfaces.
