- This standard specifies lonidazole, metronidazole, dimetronidazole and the metabolites of lonidazole and dimetronidazole, 2-hydroxymethyl-1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole, in foods of animal origin. Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry detection method for residual amounts. This standard is applicable to the detection of lonidazole, metronidazole, dimetronidazole, and 2-hydroxymethyl-1-methyl-5-nitroimidazole residues in pork and liver.
