- This standard specifies a method for the determination of ractopamine residues in animal tissues and animal urine using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of ractopamine residues in pig muscle, pig liver, pig urine and cow urine. The linear range of this standard method is 0.02 mg/L ~ 2.O mg/L. The detection limit of this standard method in pig muscle and pig liver is 0.005 mg/kg, and the detection limit in pig urine and cow urine is 0.002 mg/L.
