The purpose of this standard is to establish a method for determining the actual linear density 1] of silionne yarns, verranne yarns and stratifil yarns of textile glass, in the form of coils. It can be used for the inspection of a coil or a batch of coils. The linear density determined is that of the product without sizing and oven drying.
