This Standard specifies the characteristics of the control sieves used for the determination, in the laboratory, in a sample of cereals, of the undesirable elements that pass through the nominal openings with the following shapes and dimensions: a) Long-hole sieve : 1.00 mm x 20.0 mm 1.80 mm x 20.0 mm 2.00 mm x 20.0 mm 2.24 mm x 20.0 mm 3.55 mm x 20.0 mm b) Sieve round holes 4.50 mm diameter This Standard is not applicable to sieves used in methods of investigation and determination of infestation due to insects.
